the bigger they are, the harder they fall. My feeling is most of us understand that while sticks and stones may hurt my bones, a name will never hurt you, and the whole mess over Imus is a cover up for a lack of personal responsibility. Easier to blame the other guy.
My mornings are shot now. Yeah there is always PBS or Opie and Anthony which I always flipped to anyway especially when that loud mouthed fool who used to be a cop came on, but I loved the political commentary, and lots of the music. I hated the pompus rancor of Bernard McGurk, some of the really stupid routines by some brilliant comedians but the guy should have never been fired. Especially on the strength of Sharpton and Jackson spewing their racial hypocrisy.
I never use the n word, called a woman ho, decribed a person as nappy headed and resent being told they are. So if American Express wants to stop the expressions, stop selling the product- if you have a card you know they send you the concert venues- WITH GOLD CARD SEATING for preferred customers...
Cancelled my card, canceled Home Depot too. Donated to the radiothon and will continue to buy the GTC products. Speaking of those products, my housekeepers have been convinced the only way they can clean is to poison themselves slowly with the chemicals the corporations swear are the only way things will ever be clean. Thanks Don for letting that overbearing wife of yours get that message out- we are poisoning our environment, our children, our pets, and our planet. I can't wait to see how Imus works this out.
